About KoropeLagos
Structuring the Future of Last-Mile Commuting
KoropeLagos is a unified operations registry designed specifically for the Lagos state tricycle ecosystem. Developed in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, NURTW, and regional authorities, the platform was built to digitize, secure, and organize the thousands of operators providing essential last-mile transit to Lagosians daily.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to empower operators, protect passengers, and bring institutional order to motor parks across the metropolis. We believe that formalizing this vital sector will completely eradicate friction between regulators and drivers.
Why We Built This
For too long, the tricycle transport network operated on fragmented intelligence. Drivers dealt with unwarranted harassment, union officials lacked clear visibility of their zones, and passengers boarded unverified vehicles. KoropeLagos consolidates this entire chain into one transparent, verifiable ledger.
The Union Partnership
Working closely with the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), we've engineered modules that put administrative control directly into the hands of unit and branch chairmen. This ensures that operational discipline is maintained by the unions themselves, utilizing cutting-edge identification and mapping technologies.
Who We Serve
- The Drivers: Ensuring safety, validating their profession, and providing an official state identity.
- Fleet Owners: Offering detailed metrics mapping their assets' distribution across diverse local government areas.
- Park Managers (Agberos): Issuing powerful administrative portals to securely oversee zones, log incidents, and orchestrate routes.
